{UAH} Govt should do something about high prices of goods and services

Government shouldn't just look on as our people are suffering with high prices of goods. The " I don't-care-attitude " by both the legislature(MPs) and executive is concerning. Besigye is under house arrest for protesting against high prices of goods.

Museveni manipulated legislative procedure and shoe-horned policies without proper consultation,  and this has caused massive social division.

Crime is increasing especially around Kampala, partly because people can't afford to buy goods and services.

Homelessness is rife in a lot of cities and towns, but the two arms of govt were not shy to introduce rental and landlord taxes on the few houses that have been built by people. On the outskirts of Kampala, you find about 7 people sharing a rented room.

Inflation is high, house prices and rents are at record highs, food prices are soaring , fuel prices are soaring ( partly due to Govt tax take  and Ukraine war),

Government debt is massive, infrastructure projects are way behind or even scrapped as govt spending on consultants,  foreign trips and bureaucracy is out of control. Even some so called opposition leaders are seen regularly on TV on foreign trips.

In reality Museveni, MPs and some " fake" opposition leaders are increasingly loathed by an increasing number of Ugandans of all classes, ethnicities and political affiliations.
