{UAH} Government gives me 8 million per month but I eat it in one week- Gilbert Bukenya

The self-styled 'mahogany' made these revelations in a conversation with Miles Rwamiti for his Urban Television show, Rush Hour.

According to the ex-Vice President, he had no trouble dishing out over a million shillings in tips because it was available way back during his tenure in office.

However, he admits that he finds it difficult giving away even shs50,000 due to the current economy.

Nevertheless, he who cries on a bicycle does not shed the same tears as he who cries in a Benz.

Gilbert admits that he still receives monthly remittances from government of about 8 million as benefits for previously having held the office of Vice President.

However, he complains and boats at the same time that it is still peanuts for him as he consumes it all in simply a week.

Nevertheless, he notes that some of his challenges do not faze him as he is already a made man. He boasts of having a Landcruiser, a Range Rover, a Premio and a Probox

On this note, he advised politicians to always have a fallback plan incase their term in office expires.
