Congo-DRC to kick out Eastern African defence peace-keeping forces...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi of Congo-DRC Republic has confirmed the end to the deployment of the East African peace-keeping forces in Eastern Congo-DRC. These forces have to leave the area by the end of June 2023.
The Congolese government has been complaining about the secret friendly contacts between these forces and the rebel M23 guerilla army. President Tshisekedi opts for the Southern African defence pact which is ready to provide him with the necessary forces to replace the East Africans. Tshisekedi, with the full support of his country, is determined to bring law and order in the troubled Eastern Region of Congo-DRC.

East or West the gun is the language
--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------
Indeed, this assertion is true for a country where the gun is the order of the day as the chosen instrument to enforce dictatorship and all very bad policies aimed at grabbing, killing and imposing all acts tending to oppression. Now Uganda is shocked with the very sad news of Dr Ibrahim Tusuubira aka Isma Olaxes Jajja Ichuli's murder, shot dead in very suspicious circumstances. Jajja Ichuli, a nonviolent person, is now the latest Ugandan victim dying at an assassin's bullet for unknown reasons! Whatever he might have said or done, whether to the regime or to the public in general, Ichuli never deserved death especially through such violent means! May God have mercy on him!
Jajja Ichuli failed to make full unanimity in life, however he is now making it in death. Friends and foes are all one to denounce this murder and those many other murders whose authors are always kept in full impunity. The only serious statement we usually hear is that of pigs who carry out these assassinations! Pigs that can't be identified and arrested and punished! It's a bizarre situation where we see the life of fellow citizens becoming a plaything in the form of a toy to play with just almost at random....
Ugandans have lived in insecurity for ages. Innocent people have been abducted and driven to unknown destinations. Many others are reported dead. And thousands are rotting in prisons and detention centres and torture chambers because of their political beliefs which are anathema to a very hard dictatorship that has plunged the nation into an ocean of uncertainty. But the consolation is that God accepts no silly nonsense exerted on His humble people. And this very same ever victorious Almighty God will never hesitate to intervene for the very much oppressed and cheated Ugandans.
The 8th May 2023 demonstrations a relevant curtain-raiser to important shows
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Successful or unsuccessful as a political demonstration the point is that there was triumph in the endeavour. That economic shodown was a curtain-raiser that will gradually turn into a massive nationwide action. It has a good cause for success. What it sits on is people's determination. And it's this attitude which has weakened the oppressive NRM regime to the extent of turning it into a permanent agency of cowardice and political impotence that hides and runs away from Ugandans! The gun is relegated to a position of inferiority because it only comes out to pose as a defense for the cowards and the fearful and to help misleaders impose their very senseless policies on the innocent masses of oppressed Ugandans.May 8th 2023 is now standing as a base for further action aiming at seeing a better society installed in place. Whether crowds gathered or didn't gather, the essential thing was in the initiative to propose that date and to see the proposal gaining ground in many minds not only in Uganda but also abroad. There is potential for its success some day.

Lwera inondation a proof of irresponsible policies pegged on greed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Police are giving instructions to the users of the Kampala-Masaka Highway which is also the way that directs much of Western Uganda. The reason behind all this is the reported rise of the levels of Katonga River due to the quasi-illegal digging of sand in that Lwera region as many observers inside the country have pointed out. It's reported that this activity is carried out by Chinese companies which in turn export the sand to China! What surprises many Ugandans is the fact that such type of activity goes almost in the sense of robbery because the natives aren't informed about it. There is no accountability set to establish any checks and balances on the activity. And this trend is almost nationwide. Agreements guiding such operations are universally a creation offered by the nationals in general and not by a cabal of greedy egoists who hide numbers, figures and statistics......

Much of the opinion is expressing pity towards the innocent people of Uganda who will never reap benefits from such activities. Ugandans are losing their forests, water expanses, sand, soil, and minerals, etc...for unknown reasons. This cannot be tolerated by all Ugandans who are the real de facto owners of all these assets, and they should be the ones to determine anything regarding any such operations in question.
Karamoja problems expose regime inefficiency and weakness
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is reportedly going on in Karamoja with murders, looting, grabbing, illegal exploitation of minerals, etc... is proof of the NRM regime's inefficiency, weakness, unpatriotism, and hatred of the poor innocent people of the region who are now deprived of what has been a culture forming their existence for the past hundreds of years. This overall phase of insecurity in Karamoja further expresses how the regime's gun attitude is a major failure that will never bring peace and harmony in the country.NRM's very cowardly attitude is systematically pushing the regime to install a kind of an intra-colonial imperialism that wants to see Ugandans deprived of a voice in the affairs of their country. Such guinea fowl dreams can't materialise in a country that rotates on the solid rocks of an intrepid political resolution. And it's this very heroic resolution that will finally succeed to defend Karamoja and the rest of the country. Such oppressive regime manoeuvres are just a pointer to a future mobilization that will see a determined population sticking together for a possible counter action. Ugandans, though unarmed, won't submissively continue living in passivity when the constitution guarantees them the essential right for self-defence. This is the only way Ugandans will take to reclaim the land and property that have been taken away from them and to put an end to murder and violence..

NUP MPs and supporters mustn't let down Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Avoid envelopes, avoid enticements, avoid all those privileges that are leading astray some of you! This is the general national warning to NUP members and MPs whose party mustn't disappoint with what some consider as a stark abandonment of the noble principles of their formation.NUP has many roles to play for the good of the country, the region, and the continent.
NUP historicals and MPs shouldn't land in the trap of senseless materialism that spoils the values of a strong party.I think NUP, as many observers point out, has deep roots to display as a new party that may benefit from the charisma of a popularly admired leader and his team. Trying to pull away from Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi is the greatest error the party or some members would commit. And they shouldn't do it! And they mustn't indeed withdraw loyalty from Kyagulanyi if they want the party to continue moving. Kyagulanyi's strength as evidenced on all stages whether national, regional, or international is there to sound good tidings to NUP. And I pity those NUP MPs who pay slim loyalty to their leader! The masses are watching them and the day the very same masses in their constituencies will decide on parallel candidates it will just be the end for these MPs. They will exit in full humiliation for having let down a leader who won January 14, 2021.
Democratic Party has held on for ages because, among other things, it has always tried to move with the leader.
