{UAH} There are only 2 Labs preforming DNA Testing in Uganda;

There are only 2 Labs preforming DNA Testing in Uganda; 

1. Government Analytical Laboratory (GAL) Wandegeya 

2. MBN Clinical Laboratories (MBN Lab) which is AABB Internationally Accredited. 

The rest are sample collection centres. They refer the collected samples to the actual testing labs above in Uganda or abroad.

However, it should be well understood that the quality of the samples can directly affect the quality of the results, and we have seen some cases of mix up samples especially when samples are collected outside MBN and referred in!!!

For this reason we give internationally Accredited results ONLY when samples are collected by a specifically trained  staff.

My advice is that if one wants to do a DNA test, walk to the lab and have your samples collected from the testing lab.
