Flava cleans old people in the US

The former Bukedde TV presenter was hired to clean old people when she first moved to the country.

She received the money within only two weeks of work, and she was required to only work for a few hours.

Pulse Uganda reports that rumours about her leaving the station started swirling in 2017 after she declared her political ambitions.

Flava was eyeing the Gomba Woman Member of Parliament seat in the 2021 general elections under the National Unity Platform. This did not work out so well because she worked with Vision Group, which is owned by the government.

Flava resigns from TV station

Although she maintains she resigned willingly, some people say she was hounded out because of her links to NUP, a Bobi Wine-led outfit.

According to Flava, she sent a resignation letter to Moses Kasasa, the then-content manager at Bukedde TV. She told him that she couldn't return to the country from the US because of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Socialite Nalongo Sheilah Don Zella, aka Sheila Nadete, hosted the TV presenter in the foreign country as they have been friends for nearly two decades.

After five months, she left because she had to give birth.
