There is a very good reason I have failed to go ooops in discussing politics. I base arguments on provable facts. When Trump  started to build a wall on the Southern border, many Mwiiri graduates in this forum opposed the man. Peter Simon Okurut started a chorus of we are all immigrants and we must all support an open boarder policy, Yei let them all come in. Red states suffered a great deal a suffering these fools ignored. The forum open mouth Edward Pojim, educated us how immigration is great for it is going to turn Texas blue. Well Republicans found out a way to fight off “The we build bridges not walls” idiocy. Allow illegals to walk in but bus them to Democratic ran cities. That decision actually works, for today as I post this writing, a real Democrat mayor is on a tour in Mexico, to stop illegal immigration now that the fraudulent administration has failed to put a stop on it.

A question to you fools, why did you oppose building a wall? That is the very same stupidity that made you oppose Iddi Amin, that resulted into your being camped like firkin Pigs.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams travels south of the border to stop immigration crisis

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is taking the border crisis into his own hands.

The Democratic mayor is side-stepping the Biden administration and attempting to intervene in the historic wave of immigration bringing people from South America, Central America, and Mexico to the United States, according to a city hall announcement.

Adams will visit Mexico City on Wednesday, then head to Puebla, Mexico, before going on to Quito, Ecuador, then Bogota, Colombia, and the Darien jungle between Panama and Colombia.

Although the Adams administration has touted his trip as a way to bolster diplomatic relations and see how immigrants make the journey, the mayor is more focused on communicating through local news outlets in each region that the United States is not open to illegal immigrants, according to the New York Post.

Adams previously visited the U.S.-Mexico border in January, where he called on national leaders to do more to stop the immigration crisis.

Adams declared a state of emergency in October 2022, and he has been unsuccessful with calls for the Biden administration to stop the flow of people crossing the border illegally.

The timing of Adams's trip outside the U.S. now is no coincidence. The city has already received requests for assistance from more than 110,000 illegal immigrants who were released at the border and traveled north to the Big Apple.

But the city's Asylum Seeker Operations director, Molly Schaefer, warned this week that arrivals are increasing — just as the number of immigrants illegally crossing the southern border is also spiking.

New York City expects 4,200 people to arrive in a single week, up from the average of 3,000 each week in recent months.

The city has 60,000 immigrants in approximately 200 shelters across the five boroughs.

Councilman Joe Borelli testified before the House of Representatives in September that the city expected to spend $12 billion housing immigrants over three years.
