LUBIRI INVASION ON RADIO PEARL OF AFRICA FM
Brothers and sisters, thank you for listening to me and my host
Omugave Mukiibi on BBS Telefaina Eyaffe this morning while we were
marking 51 years ever since the Lubiri invasion by Milton Obote
forces.
We agreed that as a way of forging ahead, we should continue demanding
for our EBYAFFE. We should resume negotiating with the incumbent
President and the Government of the day, which happens to be NRM.
When a Constitutional Review Commission is launched next financial
year, our people of all walks of life should submit views the way we
did to Odoki and Sempebwa Commissions.
We should wholly take what has been given to us so far even those of
1995 which the Dan Muliika fanatics rejected as we ask for more.
We should map up a strategy for a post Museveni and post 2021 era
where we should invest in presidential, parliamentary, ministerial
material other than distancing our selves from main stream national
politics as it has been the case ever since Mikayiri Kintu days of
1958.
With the will of God, from 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm, l shall be on Radio
Pearl of Africa, continuing from where we had stopped on BBS
Telefaina. Stay tuned.
