Reckless Museveni Convoy Driver Knocks Business Woman

Sandra Olyenyi a top businesswoman in Kampala is counting herself very lucky after surviving a nasty accident involving a state house vehicle from Entebbe.
The accident happened Wednesday at Namasuba along Entebbe Road when president Museveni's convoy was heading to Entebbe from Kampala.
The over speeding vehicle registration number UG 2373C Land cruiser black in colour was being driven by a one Ismail Obonyo while Olyenyi was driving a Spacio Reg No UAY 837J.
Witnesses blamed the accident on Obonyo for driving recklessly saying that he was over speeding and overlapping other vehicles and when he realized that he was going to have a head on collision with those from Entebbe ,he instead knocked Sandra's vehicle.
"They think they are the owners of the road, they over speed, try to overtake other vehicles in any of the angle of the road and end up making accidents," said one of the eyewitness who was at the scene.
Obonyo sped off but was intercepted along Kajjansi by police and was taken back to Namasuba police post where he recorded a statement and was briefly detained.
State house officers after learning about his detention came and rescued him from custody and Olyenyi's vehicle was also towed and taken to State house garage in Entebbe.
