WINNIE MANDELA HAS DIED WITH A GRUDGE
I was happy to see Winnie Mandela with her husband Nelson Mandela,
then presidents ; Joachim Chisano and Robert Mugabe of Mozambique and
Zimbabwe respectively at Kololo Air Strip to mark International
Cooperatives Day, (l think on July 3rd), 1990.
Mandela had just come out of the prison.
Immediately after his release, and before the pay Uganda a visit (for
we were training their force at Kaweweeta), there was a function at
the then City now Constitutional Square and the the then Minister for
Education and Sports, Nuwe Amanya Mushega warned Uganda's local media
to stop calling Mandela "Black nationalist leader," because, he said,
it made him a racist, and instead they should refer to him as "South
Africa nationalist leader." Little did l know that Nelson had been
detoothed in prison and would not call for Economic war.
Winnie, has died with a grudge for her husband
and his successors, betrayed the South African cause and left the
control of the means of production in the hands of the minority
Whites. South Africa needs a Robert Mugabe or an Idi Amin.
