Pastor Allegedly Beheads Sex Hawker for Ritual in Kogi

A sex hawker has allegedly been killed by an acclaimed Pastor, Mr. Segun Otaru of the Celestial Church, Ozuri, Adavi local government area in Kogi State suspected for ritual.
The suspect beheaded the victim, severed the hand, leg as well as the head and buried her body his church.
THISDAY reliably gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday as the sex hawker said to be a Benue citizen from a popular Hotel called Hollywood Inn, was lured to his house and murdered by the pastor.
THISDAY further gathered that the pastor was apprehended alongside his accomplice, Mr. Mike and Stephen, who claimed to be his boys and church members.
According to a reliable source, the pastor sent Mike and Stephen to go and bring the sex hawker from the hotel promising them N700,000 reward.
According to the source, the pastor asked them to go and open an account so he could pay the money into their accounts once they brought the girl to him.
In the early hours of yesterday, the Divisional Police officer in Adavi led the Administrator, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami and some of his political appointees to the crime scene at Ozuri.
He confirmed that the suspect beheaded the victim, severed the hand, leg as well as the head and buried the body somewhere closed to his church.
Adavi described the act as the highest level of wickedness, stressing that "man killing man" is an abomination.
He noted that ritual killing was unbiblical, unacceptable and should be totally condemned, and vowed that anyone involved in such act must pay the price by law. He further lauded the effort of the security agencies in apprehending the suspects.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kogi State Police Command, Mr. William Ayah could not be reached for comments, as his GSM lines could not be reached.
However, Police sources disclosed to THISDAY that the three suspects including the Pastor had been arrested while the body parts of the woman have been recovered from where they were buried.
