ASTAGHFIRULLAH: A Scoop into some of Moslem Celebrities who have Thrown Religious Creed' Demands to the Wind and are Busy Trading in Booze in the Name of Making Money and Creating Jobs…
Money is the mother of all evils. Whoever coined this phrase must have been a prophet of Jesus' proportions. For what explains the fact that men and women, who have been to the holy land of Mecca several times, becoming proud Al-hajjis and Hajjatis, have thrown their religion canons through the window, to sell booze? Below we name them without fear or favor.
Tycoon Karim Hirji
He is Uganda's biggest seller of booze and he has made quite a fortune from the forbidden bitter. He sells booze at his many top of the range hotels. There are the Imperial Royale Hotel, Grand Imperial Hotel, Equatorial Hotel, all situated in Kampala. Others are Entebbe based Golf Hotel, Imperial Resort Hotel and Imperial Resort Beach.
BMK
A whole Al-hajj and powerful Moslem, Bulayimu Muwanga Kibirige aka BMK, is another Muslim, who openly sells booze at his Africana Hotel in Kampala. He sells all sorts of booze from beers, wines, name it, he will be ready to provide the bitter.
Hajji Habib Kagimu
This one even has a degree in Sharia Law. He was departed Libyan strongman Gaddafi agent in Uganda. And he has many links in the Middle East. He has also made rounds to the holy land of Mecca. But this has not stopped him from going into the forbidden booze business. He deals in all sorts of booze at his Old Kampala based Habib Hotel.
Though he wedded former Vice President Dr Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe the moslem style, he has still chosen not to miss out on the big dime from selling booze.
Business savvy he is, it does not surprise us that the pencil-thin Al-hajj Hassan Basajjabalaba cannot let pass the chance to make good money from the Africa leading acclaimed booze takers: Ugandans. He sells booze at his Regency Hotels and has made quite a kill.
Isaac Mulindwa
The showy Hajj would be seen smiling from ear to ear, each time PAM Awards are held. And it's not for nothing. He harvests good money from PAM award goers, who end up drinking like fish. He can't organize booze-free function.
Jaberi Bidandi Ssali
Alert to the money, his other Moslem brethren are harvesting courtesy of booze, Bidandi decided to make it his political retirement business. And he doesn't regret setting up Kiwatule Recreation Center. He has landed his dream, as the happening place is making good dime for him. This is why he cried like a baby starved of breast milk, when his good wife and naughty children, attempted to grab the property, long before he even could think of joining his creator.
Sarah Kizito
The leading Lady Charlotte Boutique owner is also a beneficiary of booze. She sells booze at her Luzira based Miami Beach. That his departed dad Hajj Bulwadda was uncompromising Moslem, and is even credited for having translated the Qua-ran into the local Luganda language, has not stopped the daughter from earning off booze!
Al-hajj Habib Takuba Kabuye
He is a good and practicing Moslem, but the evil that is money, got the better part of him. He now sells booze at his TMK Hotel in Kawempe.
Before we dig deeper into this, we extend to you a reminder; Once, Mbale IUIU Rector, Dr. Ssengendo warned departed Dr. Suleiman Kiggundu that his empire would collapse for selling booze. And the prophesy came to pass with Kiggundu's vast business collapsing like a pack of cards with him.
