Forumists, l have just come from parliament where President Museveni has addressed the East Africa Legislative Assembly session. He has castigated arbtrary colonial boundaries, and urged member states and other African countries not to consider them very important. He cited an example of himself who was born in Uganda 14 miles from the boearderline with Tanzania, and the same distance with the boarderline with Rwanda.
In his own words, had the boarderline been mate 20 miles depp on any of the Tanzanian or Rwandese border, he would have been a Tanzanian or a Rwandese. So for those who have been speculating here, the man has said that he was born inside Uganda, and that is what he wrote in hos book, Sowing the mustard Seed. We should stop speculating on the past and concentrate on the future.
