[UAH] The 2013/14 budget should have the making of silage incorporated

Dr. Kiwanuka Semambo's Sunday programme, 2nd June 2013 on CBS 88.8 FM was very educative regarding how silage can be developed in Uganda.  It is a fact that many of our cattle are starved in the dry season simply because we have not taken up the culture of making silage in the rainy season.  If we can start after Government has put some money in the budget to promote this undertaking, it may not only increase milk realized in the dry season but also avail employment to many youth who may take it up as employment to make silage which they may sell in the dry season.   WilliamKkituuka Kiwanuka
