Police in Mbale Tuesday fought fire that broke out at Stanbic Bank Eastern region branch in Mbale town.
The staff and the clients fled the banking hall for their lives.
Police managed to contain the fire which is said to have started from a meter box.
According to the branch manager, Richard Wanyoto, no property was destroyed.
