Continuing battles between the peoples army and the puppet Philippines regime in Mindanao province. These battles are now nationwide and not just confined to Mindanao. This week it has been in Agusan del Sur, Mindanao. The Philippinnes brutal army will no doubt step up its operations there, but I suspect the reaction of the peoples army will be to stage attacks in Luzon, in the north of the country and in Samar Leyte in the east of the country so as to relieve the pressure from the combatants in Mindanao. Partly the attacks in Mindanao were also intended to relieve presssure on the people's army unit in the Cordillera mountains in northern Luzon, hundreds of miles away from Mindanao.

Two successive harassments from the New People's Army- Agusan del Sur
under the Western Agusan Sur - Agusan Norte Sub-Regional Command (North
Central Mindanao Region) hit the reactionary soldiers twice this week.
Two soldiers died and another two were wounded from these attacks.
On June 22, 2013, at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, a platoon from
the 26th Infantry Battalion suffered harassment in Sitio Agungon, Brgy.
Maliwanag, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. A Cpl. Albasar Ahalil and a Pfc.
Rolly Julia died during the firefight while one of their soldiers was hurt.
This action happened while this platoon was resting in a hut. This was
their unit undergoing a hot pursuit operation after the NPA successfully
raided the compound of Shannalyne Plantation Company and a rubber
plantation in Sitio Kamarangan, Brgy. Hawilian, Esperanza, Agusan del
Sur which was owned by Esperanza town Mayor Manpatilan last Hunyo 18, 2013.
On the other hand, another NPA team harassed the 26th IB–CAA detachment
in Km. 11, Brgy. Policarpo, San Luis, Agusan del Sur yesterday, Hunyo
24, at around 8:00 in the morning. Wounded from the scene was a CAFGU
nicknamed "Berdo".
In this two events, the operating unit of NPA immediately withdrew
without any casualty whatsoever.
Due to the dedication of the Red fighters and the wide mass base
support, the revolutionary movement has exacted paralyzing military
actions to these reactionaries. The NPA's momentum will remain or rev up
further in launching such assaults to these paid troops which are
serving as defenders of foreign and local ruling classes.

sundalo ang patay ug may laing duha pa ang samaron.
Hunyo 22, 2013, bandang alas 4:00 sa hapon, unang giharass ang usa ka
platun sa 26th Infantry Battalion didto sa Sitio Agungon, Brgy.
Maliwanag, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. Patay sa maong insidente silang
Cpl. Albasar Ahalil ug Pfc. Rolly Julia samtang dunay usa pa ka samaron.
Ang harassment nahitabo samtang nagpahulay ang maong platun sa usa ka
balay. Gilunsad nila kining hot pursuit operation human malampusong
gilusob sa NPA ang compound sa Shannalyne Plantation Company ug ang
rubber plantation didto sa Sitio Kamarangan, Brgy. Hawilian, Esperanza,
Agusan del Sur nga gipanag-iyahan ni Esperanza Mayor Manpatilan niadtong
Hunyo 18, 2013.
Sa laing bahin, giharas usab sa usa ka tim sa NPA ang detachment sa
kasundalohan didto sa Km. 11, Brgy. Policarpo, San Luis, Agusan del Sur
kagahapon, Hunyo 24, bandang alas 8:00 sa buntag. Samaron ang CAFGU nga
ginganlan og "Berdo".
Sa duha ka panghitabo paspas nga nakawithdraw ang operating yunit sa NPA
nga walay naangkon nga unsamang kaswalidad.
Atubangan sa dedikasyon sa mga Pulang manggugubat ug sa suporta sa
baseng masa, dugang pagpiang na usab ang napahamtang sa rebolusyonaryong
kalihukan ngadto sa reaksyunaryong kasundalohan. Magpabilin ug ipasubsob
pa sa NPA ang susamang mga pag-atake sa ngadto mga bayarang hukbo nga
nagasilbing tigpanalipod sa langyaw ug lokal nga mga nagharing hut-ong.
