Toronto's Pride celebrations kick into high gear in this holiday weekend.

The annual Dyke March is making its way through downtown streets.

Thousands of woman are taking part in what organizers have called a bit of politicized fun and a glittery ruckus.

The march route is as follows.

-Start at Church St & Hayden St
-North on Church St to Bloor St E
-West on Bloor St E to Yonge St
-South on Yonge St to Carlton St
-East on Carlton St to wrap up just before Sherbourne St

The march will wrap up with a rally at Allan Gardens

Streets along the march route will be closed until at least 5pm Saturday.
