[UAH] LADIES & GENTLEMEN: ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE TO YOU A MAN WITH A HEART OF GOLD: RTD.COL.WARREN KIFEFFE KIZZA BESIGYE:

Dr.Besigye's father was called Kifefe.He had some money,but he[Kifefe] was not that powerful. if you went into the history of Rujumbura/North Kigezi,you will hear names like Makobore,Karegyesa,Ruhiindi,Biryabarema..etc But you may never hear Kifefe's name, but he raised a great son who is now a legend in Uganda forever.

Bahima loved the Kifefe family and I'm hoping they still do up to now.Mzee kikira a typical muhima &also mzee keino also a muhima are some of the elders, kiffefe senior (father to Dr besigye) entrusted with his children among them Dr besigye.They took good care of Besigye throughout his education when his father died.

Dr.Besigye worked as a Medical Officer at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi in 1981 before being recruited into the NRA liberation struggle in search for freedom and equality for the people of Uganda.How many of us would abandon the comfort of our air conditioned offices and the predictability of our pay checks to go into the jungle in the name of fighting for freedom?

Dr. Kizza Besigye is the BEST president Uganda has missed! Without him i wonder if some of us would have the courage to say NO to the goons in gov't! Here we are celebrating modesty, principle, intellectual depth and bravery in just a man who showed it to Ugandans.

This man from his eyes is grace, purity and a heart of Gold. He seems to speak from his heart and from his childhood, it is evident he has stood ON PRINCIPLES against unfairness and social injustice that is prevalent in our land.He is the man who UNMASKED Museveni's fakedness and now everyone can stand up to Museveni and just call him an ordinary African man who looked for a job, found it, now is trying to keep it at very high economic and human cost without doing anything extra ordinary. It is the reason the Tumukunde Henry, Ggwangas, Sejusas and others are now questioning the man's credentials. Let's give him kudos for his boldness!!

He is the man "hated" by evil forces for single highhandedly UNMASKING President Museveni's pathological lies to Ugandans. For his truth & boldness he paid a high price from Museveni's security servicemen and triumphed when he led a 1 year mass protest that forced Museveni to press panic buttons murdering 45 youths including a baby girl in Masaka in cold blood. I have always wondered if in his body he does feel pain when hit? One would imagine he doesn't given his endurance but his flesh as well bleeds meaning yes he does feel pain. You will always stand out Dr. KB!!

HE IS NOW RETIRED SIPPING A GLASS OF WINE ON HIS BALCONY AS HIS FRIEND GEN.SEJUSA tries out a trip in LONDON!!! Even in retirement this man has people who honor and respect him in Uganda and  all over the world.KB is a retired President of FDC. he is a man whose courage is beyond ordinary, only that he is surrounded by political comentators and non movers.KB after 3 Presidential Elections stepped down as Leader of FDC and to some of us that is a milestone. Why are we celebrating and paying tribute to a man who retired from the Armed Forces and Presidency of a Leading Opposition Pary? Because it is a Principled Decision that demonstrates Quality of Character & Charisma. Nobody would have challenged KB if he we wished to stay atop FDC but this is Principle. He even retired much earlier than the Constitution provided. That is the basis of the glowing tribute.

I have talked to people who were with him in the CA. Dr. Besigye's brilliance cannot be challenged. I am not in the intricate corridors of power but any information that helps all of us understand him better should be public knowledge. KB, Serwanga Lwanga, Sejusa am told were shining stars in the CA in 1994.

As an elder he ONLY puts pen to paper and writes his 1999 advisories and YKM has realized the best thing he ought to have done 14 years ago was to write back to Besigye or discuss his issues internal to NRM. Instead he refused Prof.Gilbert Bukenya, then Chairman NRM Caucus, from discussing KB's paper and wanted him Court Martialled until the son of Kifeffe pulled a master stroke.  Those against him have issues to protect but his legacy will always live on.He has remained handsome to-date despite what some NRMs say. Long Live Good Doctor!  Long live Dr! Will always appreciate yo sacrifices!
