[UAH] LAND FUND, THEO NLY SOLUTION FOR LAND CRISIS

Forumists, l am happy that the Nantaba Committee is back in operation, thanks to President Museveni's intervention. But l think it is just treeating symptoms if it is not just a mere pain killer.

The Land Fund, which is constitutional, should be operationalized, and bibanja holders, have no capacity to pay back. These are mere peasant small holding tenants, involved in subsistance farming.

Government should just pay off land owners on their behalf, so that they geet Mailo or Freehold tittles. This will boost producation and Prosperity for All will become meaningful.

l speak with experience as a Mailo owner at Nnambiriizi in Mawogola and Mbaale - Kitaasa in Bukomansimbi and a bibanja holder at Kisawo in Kalungu and Masajja in Kyaddondo.
