There's no doubt that this kind of thing is barbaric and must be condemned in the strongest terms possible. In this era of real time reporting with photographs, it should not take 2 days to round up any criminals. Has government rounded up these people? What I notice here is our tendency to compare the degree of abuse between current regime and past ones. There is no competition in who abuses best or worst. This government fought to remove all forms of bad governance, and by God's grace, it won the fight and came to power. It should fulfill its promise to uphold rule of law by leading by example, at least where there's evidence like this one, the perpetrators should have been arrested and the country updated. 

I assume that when one decides to fight, it must be that you really hate what you see and believe that only force of arms can stop it. When you relax after success, your intentions become suspect. 

Let us not always justify any wrong doing because it happened in 1966, 1971,1980, 1985. This is the 21st century, let us be current.
