South Africa today would be better had venerable, statuesque Mandela
not handed the mantle too early to the common crop. Two terms at
least, he could have impacted on another generation and experienced
the African chapter of the book on international political vitality.
Look at ANC, look at the replication of apartheid! South Africa
squandered Mandela's true spirit just like that.
