After Finance Minister, Maria Kiwanuka, had delivered the 2013/2014
budget speech at Serena Conference Centre in Kampala on June 12,
President Museveni took to the podium, delivering a live, rousing
commentary.
Amidst the back and forth exchange with the audience, more so the
opposition bench, the subject of Mbabazi (who was present) came along.
Museveni prominently remarked:
"Mbabazi must be a very powerful man, if everybody is constantly
talking about him."
For anyone interested, refer to our earlier discussions on this forum
where we exchanged on topics as MEASURING MBABAZI'S UNPOPULARITY,
COMPARING BESIGYE AND MBABAZI following which some flatfooted geezers
accused me of promoting a Mbabazi Presidency (as though that were a
felony). They ignored the aspect of his right to eligibility.
Consequently, Mbabazi rules them, already, spiritually and
psychologically. His boss, too, concurs.
