The bad side of Idi Amin!! As if there was a good side!!
During amin´s time suspected freedom fighters were killed by firing squad like this one and people were forced to come and watch to discourage them from joining freedom fighters.This was in Mbale Uganda one February.A crowd of twenty thousand,women,men and children,watched from a stadium in pouring rain as firing squad executed to alleged guerrillas from Bugsihu.Tom Masaba a former captain in Uganda army and Sebastino Namirundu in February 1973.They were both interrogated and stripped naked fitted with short white aprons and tied to their execution posts.Masaba who was accused of being a terrorist was reported to have said,"Let,those like me who have been killing innocent people in this country come out and report to the authorities".
And here is the other victim. Ex-Officer in the Ugandan Army and alleged "guerrilla" Tom Masaba is stripped of his clothes and tied to a tree before his execution at Mbale.
Incidentally most of them had links with FRONASA(Musevenis fighting group then).One of them Nkoko from Jinja suffered the same fate...........His children dropped out of school and the widow is wallowing in poverty.The president only visited them just before last elections and offered them a tractor!The widow was not interested!!Nkoko was a forestry officer who was recruited by Museveni then.He was arrested by soldiers from magamaga barracks and suffered the same fate.Victims were killed in their home towns in the presence of parents and relatives!!!
