The newly appointed Deputy Executive Director of the Uganda Media Centre, Col. Shaban Bantariza has been arrested and charged with offences related to fraud and abuse of office by the UPDF's Military Intelligence.
According to Media Centre Boss, Ofwono Opondo, Bantariza was arrested after the UPDF completed its investigations into misuse of funds at NALI.
Bantariza has been charged before the General Court Martial this afternoon chaired by Brig. Ddiba Ssentongo.
