Islam is a peaceful religion - the Oxford Union Debate

Well I just received a message which read:

 O me miserum! Oxford held a vote among the students. After listening to various speakers would vote on whether Islam is a "Religion of Peace".

Yes side won with 286 votes against 168! This is the West's young elite, the future of our rulers! Dumbing down and moral illiteracy!

However, this girl, parliamentary candidate for Labour to top it all, see what happens and dare to draw conclusions, without caring that she "makes for hatred, division,

racism, Islamophobia "and other infantile" bull ".

 

Not a very balanced debate, when on one side you have the very passionate Mehdi Hasan  sounding a little like a highly strung Mr. Bean  recently stung by a bee and without any unnecessary support from an incompetent Boko Haram Mwalimu who would have only made matters worse with some boring monotonic one dimensionality.

On the other side there could have been a Robert Spencer type, and then it would have been something like a mother of all battles…
