According to police sources, detectives from the National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS) are investigating an account believed to be of former Prime Minister's aide Eliud Owalo which has been stashed with hundreds of millions of shillings from suspicious Foreign Embassies through a Nairobi law firm under the guise of legal fees for non-existent legal cases.

Early this week, Owalo was summoned by Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after reports emerged that he was planning a demonstration in Nairobi to oust President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto

Owalo, through a Nairobi Law Firm account has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from abroad disguised as proceeds of legal transactions which is later channeled to political heavy weights within CORD because records show that it is withdrawn immediately it hits the accounts. The money then disappears and detectives believe that it is "washed" in the local Kenyan market and people within CORD posses and stash it in cash.

The money is believed to be from US and Britain Governments thorough proxies like NGOs who have a Luke Warm relationship with the new Jubilee administration.
