I take the opportunity to warmly welcome you to this discussion forum. As the name suggests, the site aims at examining the 'change of guards' that took place in Uganda on 26th January 1986 when Museveni took power and culminated into the present turmoil.
The site highlights and analyses the events that preceded that date that enabled Museveni to realise his childhood ambition of becoming the President of Uganda which office he continues to hold for 28 years now.
The innitial idea was to present this analysis in a book form but given the critical need for correct information by all those struggling to save Uganda from the current turmoil, we have opted to take this route.
Most of the events presented and discussed herein are public knowledge. However, only a few Ugandans and members of the international community have afforded them an accurate interpretation and analysis. This has led to widely held misconceptions that Museveni has exploited in order to fraudlently hold on to power.
The managers of this site have been trapped inside Museveni's fraudlent system for a long time. Therefore, we are in a better position to provide an accurate analysis of why and how Museveni came to power and how he continues to hold it. In this regard, some of Museveni's well kept secrets will be disclosed. To deal with the source of Museveni's arrogancy and militaristic character, we shall tackle head-on Museveni's power base - the military. Also, to resolve most of the myth surrounding Museveni's governance, the postings are designed in Question and Answer form.
We sincerely believe that its you who has much more information and our role is just to avail a catalyst. Therefore, your contributions in form of both positive comments and criticism is what will inspire us to keep going.
