[UAH] Museveni vows to return Luwero triangle

President Yoweri Museveni, who is on a poverty eradication drive in Luwero district, has vowed to make Luwero Triangle, a model zone where the rest of the country can learn modern commercial agriculture from.
"I want to make Luwero distric a model zone in Uganda as far as creating wealth is concerned. I will establish a barracks in every Saza to ensure the implementation of the exercise", Museveni aid.
The President was on Wednesday addressing veterans at Kalasa Primary School in Makulubita Sub-County in Luwero district.
Museveno reiterated his call to have systematic approach in implementing programs in agriculture, education, health and infrastructure.
He added that in wealth creation, a family that hasof 4 acres of land, must have an acre of coffee, one of fruits and another acre of bananas for food security as well.
He said the 4th acre should be for elephant grass for dairy cattle dedicated to zero grazing farming activities. Museveni also advised that homes should rear chicken for eggs, improved livestock such as goats, apiary and those near swamps can open up fish ponds. He pledged to provide the people of Luwero with nursery beds for seedlings.
