Obote's Vice president Muwanga receiving memorandum from heads of UPC 1981.He was among the most feared men at that time, probably comparable to Gen.Sejusa who has now gone rogue.
2.Former Prime Minister Cosmas Adyebo, an ardent football fan too. Fireside lore claims that when state house employees came to inform him he had been appointed PM, he thought he was being arrested. He bade farewell to malwa drinkmates thinking he would never see them again.Apparently this man was picked from a malwa joint in Nakawa for his appointment letter as PM in state house. For the record, Uganda has got a lot of sober Muslims that would be suitable to become PMs IF ANYBODY IS INTERESTED TO KNOW
3.Hajji Moses Kigongo, Vice Chairman National Resistance Movement BUT Muslims have not really benefited from him
4.Banker Sulaiman Kiggundu , who was the managing Director of Greenland Bank. Museveni closed for reasons that have upset a lot of Muslims. May he RIP. Kiggundu is one of our under appreciated heroes, a man who gave so much.may the world come to know and appreciate his true legacy....and trust me it will happen...come one day.!
