Research In Uganda by The Uganda Diasporas

Now there is room for The Uganda Diasporas associated with Universities and Companies to affiliate and /or collaborate with one Uganda University.

The arrangements are such that if there is; enthusiasm (individual or Organisational), need (academic or commercial) viability, and significance, the two universities /company will jointly establish an institute under this Uganda University to conduct: research, instruction to offer diplomas, degrees and doctorates and consultancy (academic and commercial). This will also entail exchange of faculty and academic staff members and offering degree, masters and doctoral programmes at this Uganda University.

This can be helpful to increase doctorate holders in Uganda who would not be able to join prestigious universities abroad.

The objectives therefore are to enhance research, academic progress and development, production of academic material and books, improve Uganda's academic profile and research and University commercial viability etc.

Ugandans in the diasporas associated/ attached or linked to Universities and Companies can contact me personally (info@idrc-ug.com ) to see how this could be done.

Please note too that Institutes established will be academically and financially independent as per this Uganda University research policy.

If you are interested please send me a note, detailed information of area of interest and the institution/University/department/school/faculty that want to associate or affiliate.

I will send an MOU.
