[UAH] San Francisco's Lincecum pitches a No-Hitter
This is for my fellow baseballers here:
Tim Lincecum of the San Francisco Giants has just joined the elite club of No Hitter pitchers. He went the whole nine innings against the San Diego Padres, with two walks.
To the uninitiated, a No Hitter is the second best pitching performance in a baseball game; second only to a Perfect Game.
In a Perfect Game, no batter gets to a base, whether through walks or a hit. In No Hitter, a batter does not hit to advance to a base, but can get to a base through walk.
I know it's mambo jambo, but this feat is highly valued in this sport.
