Murder investigation launched after woman, 29, is stabbed to death in her home

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder last night after a woman was stabbed to death in her home.

Linah Keza, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a property in King Edward Road, Leyton, at 4.29am yesterday.

The man is still being questioned.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for 11am today at Walthamstow Mortuary.

Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.

The death has previously been referred to as a domestic incident.
