The July report include controversial issues, including delaying of civil servants salaries especially teachers, health workers and police men/ women, failure by government to increase teachers salary by 20 percent as they had been promised last financial year, corruption especially in Office of Prime Minister, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, among others.
The removal of Muhammad Mursi Government by the military and the rioters and the Uganda opposition vowing to imitate Egyptians and cause the fall of NRM GOVERNMENT BEFORE 2016. Wheras initially government through Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Asumani Kiyingi, Uganda's Ambassador to AU Mule Katende and Minister for Information and National Giudance Rose Namayanja were totally opposed to Egyptian coup whether military or people's later Uganda started softening and Egyopt sent here a Special Presidential Anvoy.
Some panelists said that Uganda should be like Tanzania in the seventies which was opposed to coups in order not to motivate its army and people for the same.
Dr. Kizza Besigye nad Lord Mayor Lukwago's illegal rallies and scuffle with the police. Moses Bigirwa a DP/UYD diehard who claims to be organising for return of Gen. David Sejusa, claimed that, government and police were trying to rehabilitate Besigye and lukwago to be the perpetual leaders of opposition because they are weak, in fear of Sejusa.
But government could not be blamed much if the likes of Mugisha Muntu, Norbert Mao and Olara Otunnu have failed to make an impact and it gives a chance Besigye to remain the only bull in the opposition kraal.
This is a coronation month, and NRM mobilisers have not forogotten to remind Uganda that the monarchies were restored by President Museveni and NRM/NRA/NRC but the opposition claim that what was restored was a king but not a kingdom.
There is also drought and famine in many parts of the country. There is some relief by government and donor agencies but it is not enough.
Areas in cattle corridors of Ssembabule, Lyantonde, Gomba, Kiboga, Kyankwanzi, Mubende, Nakasongola, Kiruhura, Mbarara, Rakai, etc'''; nedd valley dams and valley tanks other than bore holes which are hard to maintain.
NRM has not been doing badly, but facilitation is poor on some mobilisers like those under NRM Journalist Netwok coordinated by Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi.
The other most important item is that a member of NRM Jounrnalist Network, Angel Lubowa, who was sacked in Bukedde as an Asisstant News Editor, is now Editor of Eddoboozi, at Mmengo, and he needs guidance and but no attempt has been done to that effect.
Islamic Salaf cum ADF cells in Nnambiriizi, Lwabaana, Kaalububbu in Ssembabule District and Kyazanga in Lwengo District where a Ssembabule RDC and DISO and Mijwala GISO are compromised, nothing has been done.
