Kagame, Museveni, Kenyatta meet in Mombasa
Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) – The leaders of Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya were due to meet Wednesday in Mombasa, Kenya, for a two-day mini-summit on the development of infrastructures in the sub region, official sources indicated here.
During the summit, Rwanda's Paul Kagame, the Ugandan head of State Yoweri Museveni and Kenya's Uhuru Kenyatta are to jointly visit Mombasa's port which is being expanded in order to ensure the transit of goods to and from Rwanda and Uganda.
Mombasa's meeting follows a first summit held in June in Entebbe, Uganda, during which the three leaders exchanged views on how to cooperate in the areas of infrastructures, telecoms, real estate, agriculture, fisheries, education, health and energy.
