Guys,
I had a peep at the list of MPs deductions and take home. No more than 49 of them have confortable balances at the end of the day. One noisy MP took home 30K (emitwalo esatu!) and a minister took home 100k (emitalo kumi). Now i know why the legislature cannot be effective in deepening constitutional and democratic governance!!
At the end of the day leaders are a reflection of what their societies, the country itself lies among the idebted poor countries (Hpcs), statehouse is always asking for supplementary budgets, teachers and policemen have not paid and a big majority of salary earners are idebted to banks, loan sharks and money lenders.
Am not in anyway defending the Mps but yet again lets us not assume that they come from another planet.
