Before the Obote II regime was overthrown, commercial banks used to open at 8.00am prompt. However, given the insecurity, opening time was changed to 9.00am, and later stagnated at 8.30am.
Today, by 5.00am, people are already traveling to work. Is it not time to think about opening at 8.00am so that people can start business earlier?
