{UAH} Trouble seems to be following Iryn Namubiru again, with claims that she stole her jivy hit Begombeko from a Malagasy artist

Trouble seems to be following Iryn Namubiru again, with claims that she stole her jivy hit Begombeko from a Malagasy artist, Lianah. Whereas it is a fact that Begombeko and Lianah's Walawala sound exactly the same, it is important for us to take a very critical look at the available facts.

Walawala, the song in question was done by Lianah, a musician in Madagascar. Apart from the language, Walawala and Iryn's Begombeko are exactly the same. Save for the introductory African drums in Walawala, these two songs have the same track pattern, melody, arrangement, vocal and track variations and surprisingly, every single detail including adlibs seems to fall in the same place in both songs.

So did Iryn steal Lianah's song? That's what we get to now.

Available facts from my research indicate that Lianah's Walawala video was released in January 2013 yet Iryn's Begombeko video was released in May 2010.

In short, it is hard to believe that Iryn stole a 2013 song, when Begombeko was released in 2010. The only distant assumption can be that Lianah had already released the audio of Walawala by 2010, but only delayed to make a video.

In my opinion, the reverse may actually be true. Lianah is most likely the one who actually stole Begombeko, because her Walawala was released some three years after Begombeko. I'm basing this on existing facts.

In an event that Lianah stole Iryn's Begombeko, then she has a very important copyright case here, which she must pursue seriously. However, if it is by any chance true that Iryn stole Lianah's song, which is less likely in my opinion, then the story has just begun
