{UAH} Woman dies after drinking two litres of alcohol

IGANGA - A 38-year-old woman in Nkaatu zone, Iganga municipality collapsed dead after gulping two litres of 'enguuli' (crude waragi).
Zaina Naigulu Tibenda died over the weekend at a drinking joint belonging to Henry Dhikusoka in Nkaatu.
Nelson Kirevu, the area LC1 chairman, said the woman had allegedly been promised another two litres of the crude drink by Dhikusoka if she drank the first two litres within two minutes.
He said Dhikusoka and other revellers took off immediately Tibenda collapsed and died after drinking the local gin.
Matthew Otuu, the officer in charge of criminal investigations at Iganga Police Station, said the Police are looking for Dhikusoka to answer charges of causing the death of Tibenda.
He said the Police found Tibenda's body lying in the bar and a post-mortem report indicated that she died from excessive consumption of the alcohol.
