{UAH} And the number of sugar daddies and weird Mulindwas will increase!!!
Gov't has allowed students to carry Mobile Phones to School.Government has directed secondary school head teachers to relax rules and allow students possess cellular phones. Before you call me names like "Conservative" I think this will make kids do less reading during leisure "Ghost Libraries" and will worsen social divisions Smart Phones Vs Kabiriti. How about police cases of who stole my phone.
someone help me here; for schools where kids have access to internet, are social media platforms like Facebook and others restricted/blocked? If the answer is no, then, allowing phones will just only worsen the situation....For my brothers and sisters who develop apps, this might be an opportunity for you to cash in.
it'll reduce on learner's concentration in class. Fellows, let's stand and fight against this poor reasoning. Honestly Bills phones in schools are very destructive to learning environment of students for they will not pay attention to their work and assignments given instead they will be face-booking , downloading Music and playing games and even others minds will be set to answering any incoming call, you can imagine that excitement of a senior one chap holding a phone of-course dont expect him/her to use it well and stay focused in his /her studies.
"Copy and paste" syndrome at policy making level will not work for us!!!I think Dr Yusuf Nsubuga, the director Basic and Secondary Education, visited Europe and he thought since even nursery kids here posses phones, then ours can as well!!
We need to go back to the intended purpose! What is the motivation? Instead let govt provide computers with Internet if they want effective and modern learning but not distraction to learning! If freshers at campus can miss use their phones, what will happen to s1 chaps. Who will they be calling anyway? They will begin stealing money to buy airtime. Telecommunication companies must be funding this 'time bomb'.
This is just sheer nuisance, misguided brains, skill-less hands, valueless hearts... entangled priorities. And the number of sugar daddies and weird Mulindwas will increase!!!
