Trust Ugandans to find any sort of excuse to party. This means entertainment has to be repackaged over and over to keep them flying high.

And what better way to achieve this than to find an excuse to give free-spirited individuals enough rope to express themselves.

Such was the 'theme' as skimply dressed girls and excited young men flocked the MV Amani for a memorable Comedy on Water.

A couple of guys carried vodkas, whisky and other strong liquor headed for disaster in the name of comedy. Many of them were already' paying for their sins' just as the boat docked at Mutoola beach where the fun was set to begin.

Micro hot pants, extremely mean dress and excess alcohol defined the comedy. Indeed the concept of comedy was taken to another level as majority of the revelers saw it as another opportunity to network and hook up for possibly long and short term relationships.

Ugandan comdey is predominantly charaterised by lewd jokes told in Luganda. Parents who intend to come on board better not show up with children.

The emcee of the day was Roger Mugisha who undoubtedly still does a good job and is always at the helm of ensuring the ladies aboard are entertained and in good spirits.

Laftaz comedy group headed by Dolibondo, Birght Onak and freelance Emcee Kapale left comedy lovers in stitches with occassional punch lines though some of them were annoyingly recylced jokes.
