{UAH} Find out why everyone wants to become a president in Uganda!
Had a look at the Geological and topography arial map of of Uganda's mineral resources, Mama Yangu- i see why there is heightened interest in this country. Whoever will continue to be in charge of the country will surely be a Mulodi!!! The govt have done a comprehensive mineral survey as planes flew all over the place in or around late 2008 to 2010.Over all regions...just to confirm what the Obote Administration had found out and more. These things are not easily made public lest the populace get over excited, before they consolidate "our" land grab. Have you ever wondered why the Generals are buying off particular spots in the country? The maps and surveys are there and the foreign powers can use all sorts of technology to conduct those surveys. Why do you think some "100"special forces from a certain place were sent? The perpetrators of fake docs in parliament or mystery death say lots
L.Victoria has gold! the greater Bushenyi has some of the finest deposits of highly priced and sought after minerals in industrial countries. In Rwampara, lots of Uranium deposits-some Russians came to prospect for uranium and the old man with heart refused. he would rather deal with oil first as a priority! Busongora is Uganda's mineral-rich but poor people (ethnic minority Basongora) county. Oil xploration is soon starting on Lakes Edward and George.
And Kasese has the largest water reservoirs of any place on earth(generally the Rwenzori region is going to be the greatest battlefield on Earth, when a meteorite of sizable proportion, decides to hit the Earth. I am not kidding. The Israelis know this, the Americans are aware and the British knew before the rest.If i talked minerals, well every known mineral deposit exists in the mystic mountains of the Moon ranges.Check out www.uganda-mining.go.ug very interesting website with some of the concept papers that actually establish that Aero Magnetic geological surveys commenced on or about December 2006. U may as well see what the British are up to on www.bgs.ac.uk...interesting reading there. Read stuff on this site too http://www.flexicadastre.com/uganda/
What u get is a glimpse..Docs usually held like a master card - on the chest & under key & lock.. Its yo friends, relatives, parents and associates that have the maps & other very interesting info! U wld be amazed the details ! And why elites want power. Had it not been 4 the 2011 election & the constant "walk to work" & related stuff, the prospective investors wld have long turned the fortunes of Uganda.
However, 1.you will be shocked.Mining licenses were issued long ago and to your surprise all to foreigners. The entire Busoga region was issued to an Indian, then they announced gold, rare clay, cobalt etc in the region; 2-Most Minerals are in private land which owners are not willing to let go cheaply so companies end up shying away. 3-Most licences are in hands of speculators with no knowledge or capacity to mine yet they are selling the licences expensively 4-Most mineral occurrences are not commercially viable though small packs of minerals do exist. 3. Politicians as usual are involved like in Kisoro the lime stone mine is on a halt; For Uganda to benefit in the said deposits there is a need to complete overhaul of the Land Policy, Mineral Policy, Politics and Economic policy to encourage the people to support the sector that is why no matter the deposits most big mining companies like BARIC GOLD, ANGLO ASHANTI and others have not shown any interest here in Uganda.
Seriously capitalized entities are not willing to invest in our Mineral Sector which requires high capital investments because they are not so certain of our Economic and Political risks! The taxes are always fractuating yet very high, the politicians are in endless useless battles so economies with less risk attract serious investments BUT we have hope that with vision "2040" may be. Lets pray!!! Think about the embargo placed by UN on minerals from Uganda. Its a challenge!!!
Am praying for Africa. Its the next success story, only if we get the right leadership after Museveni. But please, UNAA should give a % of the money they get from the govt to UAH's Abbey Semuwemba.
