Take it easy! Woman stabs her ex-boyfriend for refusing to stop listening to The Eagles

• Woman became irritated at hearing the classic rock songs played endlessly
• She stabbed her roommate and ex-boyfriend
• It's not known which songs drove the woman to such extremes

She really took it to the limit!

Police in South Carolina have arrested a woman from North Charleston after she allegedly stabbed her roommate multiple times after she refused to stop playing music by The Eagles.

According to the official report, Vernett Bader, 54, became irritated with her 64-year-old roommate after he rejected her pleas to turn off The Eagles and told her to 'shut up.'

Somebody's gonna hurt someone before the night is through: Perhaps it was some of the song lyrics by The Eagles (pictured) that gave the woman some ideas?

Bader then entered the kitchen, grabbing a a 14-inch serrated bread knife before swinging it and stabbing her former boyfriend several times in the arm, hand, and elbow.

Her roommate and his brother managed to wrestle the knife away from Bader, but she quickly retrieved another from the kitchen.

All three were drunk at the time of the scuffle.

It's not known which songs drove her roomate to madness.

Bader has confessed to the crime and claimed that it was an act of self-defense because she was being choked.

However, officers did not see any hand prints on Bader at all.

Police have charged her criminal domestic violence and is currently being held in Charleston County jail.

Presumably, her ex is experiencing a 'peaceful easy feeling' now that she is out of the house...
