{UAH} Speaker Kadaga gives Gen. Sejusa 24 hours to return to Parliament

This is the eventuality I had been awaiting. Now what?

 

The learned Honorable Speaker knows that the whiskered General is not around the corner attending to his cattle or maize plantation. And I'm sure the Machiavellian soldier always knew this time would come.

 

Without saying it aloud, Madam Speaker has told Gen. Sejusa that he will lose his parliamentary seat after tomorrow. His own sponsoring party, UPDF, has disowned him, telling the Speaker that he is away on a private business. As required by the Constitution, the Speaker will declare his seat vacant because he absconded from the House.

 

While his removal from Parliament is more of a formality than anything else, I think Sejusa will start experiencing some personal discomfort, as his VIP status start to fall.
