{UAH} Gang of Four Women during the CA - Hope Mwesigye, Beatrice Lagada, Faith Mwondha & Anifa Kawooya
Robukui,
Someone who was intensively involved in the CA debates say that there was a Gang of Four Women during the CA - Hope Mwesigye, Beatrice Lagada, Faith Mwondha and Anifa Kawooyaa. Interesting that these four were known not for their fine debates but as the ladies who carried the money to delegates in much the same way as what happened in Mosa Courts in 2005. It is rumoured that Aronda was also involved in the cash for law deals during the CAs.
It was their constitution that they manipulated from the beginning but they hv failled 2 follow and obey what they wrote. Its a unfortunate that we had an opportunity 2 put the country on a constitutional path but once again our leaders missed the chance bcoz of selfishness.
Is it possible that NRM never really believed in the spirit of constitutionalism from the beginning such that given a chance, they would keep Uganda as a military govt indefinitely?
Do we need a new constitution as soon as M7 loses power?
