{UAH} THE MUSLIM NEWS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED AFTER SEVEN MONTHS IN PUBLICATION
Dear all,
-- Assalaam alaikum.
After seven months in publication, The Muslim News was officially launched on Friday 27th September 2013 by Prince Kassim Nakibinge at a colourful event at Wandegeya Mosque. The launch edition was Issue No 019. Attached is the the first and last page of Issue 020 which had limited circulation due to a power breakdown (now rectified) at the printery. It is being reprinted this week with a special independence pullout featuring Muslim contribution to Uganda's struggle for independence among others, and will include colonial and post colonial Muslim concerns. It is this issue (ISSUE 020) that will also run through the Eid season, insha-Allah.
We would like to appreciate your support to The Muslim News. We welcome articles (via email only ; not exceeding 700 words) on issues affecting Muslims in both English and Luganda (The Muslim News is a bilingual publication).
Please get yourself a copy this coming Friday at your mosque/ or and on Eid Day at your Eid Prayer ground.
If you have a service or product that targets the Muslim community, we also request you to advertise with us as your way of supporting this effort.
Remember that whoever buys a copy of The Muslim News is entitled to a free classified advert not exceeding 50 words. In each issue there is a free advert request which you can fill out and return for free publication.
Best regards and best wishes for Eid ul Adha.
