Lira Municipal Council razed to the geround the house of this 70 year old lady and she now has no where to go. Am told the road reserve initially did not pass therough her place but due to corruption, it was forced to pass there — at Lira town, Rwot aler Road .

George Rotary Omodings That Municipal Phyisical Planer of Lira should be investigated under all means.He has refused to sign my building plan up to now yet no road has passed from my house.He needs money so much and he is the only young Lango man who must be seen properly with all the two eyes coz of his corrupt tendencies

Philip Okelo It is not fair, a young person caught stealing a chicken can lose his life in a mob justice execution on the street, and yet the biggest criminal and crook is allowed to live at large, and comfort among the population is not fair. If there is justice, this man should suffer the same mob justice as a chicken thief. Julius Peter Moto corruption affects everybody. this is sad. very sad. When people talk about corruption in Government, it boils down to individuals who are in official Government positions. To fight corruption, these officials should be exposed at all costs. they should be reported to IGG and the press. My heart cries for the old woman, whose future and dreams have been dashed by these greedy officials at LMC.
Henry Ogwal My heart goes to the old lady and her family, but at times the way we live also encourages such things to happen, as a way of advice to land loards try hard and raise money for a land tittle it helps avert such incidences, a case in point they tried to do the same on my fathers land in Barogole but when we pulled out all the land documents including the road plan for the area,up to now the road works has stalled in our boarder line we did not even visit any court for the matter.- Philip Okelo I ask all to seek justice for the elderly, people mobilize and go pull out this cheap shot to come and explain his act at the site, and let the people pass their verdict on him. He should be made to pay for the new building of the grand mother. There is no justification to go free from this crime if you do love your elders, the source from which you are all are!

- Philip Okelo Thank you GRO, there is no value that can be put above our elders. To punish them by a corrupt official is just like condemning the spirit of all Lango. And who should have no right to do so! And in which Langoland should such crooks live in at peace in enjoyment of their corrupt loot?
Okello Boniface I think we should hold our leaders accountable for that, and I want the Lord mayor to explain to our community on under which law in the constitution was this tragic act committed.
