The recent "defeat" by combined force of about four countries against M23 in Eastern DRC should not be transformed into a dancing party by the Kinshasha regime. The culture of merry dancing which has denied the people of eastern peace and socio-economic development could not be tolerated by M23 on behalf of the masses. Failure to face reality by the Kinshasha regime and heap the blame on both Gen.Museveni and Gen. Kagasme may prove a great mistake.Rwanda and Uganda have been a santuary for more than a half a century. This cannot be a solution for the suffering people.Besides colonialism divided families as the demarketed borders as if they were sharing a slaughtered cow. An example of such divide is the recent celebration of our King Mumbere of the Ruwenzururu when thousands of Congolese crossed the border into Uganda to take part in the occassion. The so called Banyamulenge are no differrent from Ugandans and Rwandese. You know these are our people and blood is thicker than water. We cannot stand by and watch their suffering year after year while heavy music is the action of everyday in Kinshasa.
Winning the M23 by guns is not winning M23 by heart. Affirmative action through massive socoi-economic srategy is the way forward but not foreighn troops.
