{UAH} East African trade bloc approves monetary union deal//Let's name it

Folks;

 

Now that our quarrelsome leaders have agreed to a single monetary unit within 10 years, let's help them by coming up with the name for the new currency.

 

This name should be indigenious to the region. Lake Victoria comes to mind: it's not only shared by all the five members, it's also a major source of survival to millions.

 

So I propose we call the new currency after Lake Victoria. But we need to have an African name here. Lake Victoria is Nalubbale in Uganda (I think) and Lolwe in Luo.

 

It's not out of bias, but Lolwe rolls out easier than Nalubbale. What's your choice?
