National Action for Awakening Uganda Boss Frank Gashumba Taunts his 'Buddies' Museveni and Jennifer Musisi over Lukwago Saga and KCCA Closure

Frank Gashumba, the renowned advocate for development both at national and household levels vide his National Action for Awakening Uganda aka Sisimuka Uganda organisation, has turned his guns to hitherto friendly KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi and President Museveni.

This is over the alleged brutality exercised by Cops and Musisi aides against Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago, his lawyer and aides including his Personal Assistant Deo Mbabazi. In a Press Statement he released this afternoon, the arguably bitter Gashumba advises Musisi to open business at KCCA and or risks a public vote of no confidence, irrespective of her tangible work so far achieved at the Authority.

Musisi yesterday declared the closure of operations at the City Authority, citing alleged insecurity purportedly by the reinstated Lord Mayor Lukwago, fellow politicians and supporters. But Gashumba rubbishes the excuse as farfetched, only meant to “break our spirit and to demoralize us.�

The Full Statement    

Fellow Ugandans, the KCCA Shut Down was intended to frighten us, to break our spirit and to demoralize us, but instead we have emerged stronger, more united and we feel renewed to the principles of law. This shut down can inconvenience us, but it can’t shake the foundation of Uganda. These acts can make headlines in the press, but they cannot bend our inner spirit and resolve. If God is on their side, let them stop the sun from rising.

My fellow Ugandans, Our lives must continue as usual after all this; Government has kept Ugandans bound in an economic prison and intentionally starved Ugandans from exercising their God given rights for the last 27 years. 

None of us will ever forget this day, but as Ugandans we must stand up and defend our freedoms for the better of our children. We will not forget how Lord Mayor Lukwago's Lawyer Abdul Kiwanuka was undressed and maimed in broad day light, dragged like a goat to a slaughter house. If they can do that during day, it clearly shows what they do behind the curtains.

Finally, my friends in KCCA resume your operations as soon as possible or else, your registered achievements will be written off by your current emotional shut down.
In all that lays before us, may God grant wisdom to our Leaders to serve Ugandans equally and put our taxes to proper use.
