{UAH} Good news so far for the people Masabaland and all those who support cooperatives
Good news so far for the people Masabaland and all those who support cooperatives is that atlast the government through the minister of industry trade and coop.madam hon. Amelia Kyambade has agreed too cooperate with the Nandala board after discovering that the petitioners and Rdcs in the region were liars on the matters of BCU.This was revealled yesterday at Protea hotel in a meeting called by Hon.Kyambadde.
Hon.Nandala Mafabi read out the performance report at the time the govt. had not taken over and it was the best compared to the caretaker mngt.
The roumers that hon.Nandala had morgaged BCU land titles which was circulated by Mbale Rdc Paulo Nangoli alias Umar were disproved after the land titles were found intact after breaking the safe on court orders.Mr.Nangol was embarassed and one elder was over heard accusing him for being a liar.
Rdc Manafa Nalyanya Henry who has beeen arrogant also on BCU appeared also equally embarassed sought for forgiveness for talking against the Nandala led board without facts.
The following were the resolutions:
-All the petitions against the Nandala led board were just malice.
-The forensic audit should produce tthe report by 22nd Dec 2013 and thereafter the minister to call the special AGM in one month upon recieving the report.
-The petitioners were bared to write any other petition.
-Apl those found to have mismanaged BCU by the forensic report to be held liable individually.
-If all these and other resolutions are implemented the Union may be handed back to the owners by end January 2014.
Special thanks goes to all those who have contributed towards achieving the current hope.they knew BCU was going to act as a platform for Nandala to win the Presidency in FDc and Uganda as a whole. so their target was to cripple him politically; now maybe, they feel as Nandala lost the FDC presidency, they can speak the truth which they originally knew!ofcourse, the presiding officer being Museveni!
RDCs and culprits [Wamulugwa and group] should be held responsible and should pay for any loss incurred during this period. They should face the law.The mismanagement of BCU was not occassioned by the Nathan Nandala-Mafabi board. It was their predecessors who are the guilty part. The takeover was purely political and in bad faith and some sons and daughters of the soil are responsible for that takeover. The petitions were just a veil there were 'real reasons' and actors behind the whole thing and they are one or two, you know them!
Finally the farmers win, but its pathetic that a few selfish bamasaba have punished all the farmers who were benefiting from the union. As its always said, the truth shall set u free
