{UAH} Ocen, Kipenji//African leaders horrified when laws they passed return to haunt them
Folks;
Here is the genesis of Africa's pain at the world scene; our "negotiators" enter into binding contracts without any insightful understanding of what they are signing.
The late US statesman, Patrick Moyihan, once dismissed African envoys as too igronat. He said that all an American negotiating with the African needed to do is book into a 5-star hotel, feed him some fancy food, wine him, and he will append his signature on anything!
How true and relevant in this ICC debacle.
